Dr Dan Curtis is a Senior Lecturer within the Complex Fluids Research Group of the College of Engineering, Swansea University. His research interests involve the development of advanced rheometric techniques for the study of Complex Fluids. His focus on advanced manufacturing involves techniques for studying fluid microstructural responses to flows under conditions of manufacturing process relevance. Dan is currently working on the EPSRC Centre's ARPLAE project.
Dr Curtis’ previous research positions have involved the development of rheometric techniques for monitoring blood clot evolution, imaging and molecular dynamics simulation studies of biopolymers and combined viscoelastic and spectral analysis of gel network development.
