Mr Spilios Dellis is a Research Fellow at the “Innovations in Surfaces, Materials and Related Technologies” (iSMART) facility of Department of Physics in Nottingham Trent University. He is working under the supervision of Dr. Demosthenes Koutsogeorgis on the EPSRC CIMLAE Centre’s LAFLEXEL Pathfinder project. The main scope of this project is to examine the use of laser annealing as an alternative to any heating processes in metal-oxide TFTs devices.
Spilios received his Master’s Degree in Physics of Condensed Matter from the University of Patras, Greece. Prior to that he received a Bachelor Degree in Physics from the same university. In the context of the Master degree he has worked in the electrochemical fabrication of nanoporous materials and metal nanostructures. His research interests include fabrication of metal and semiconducting nanostructures by employing various techniques, and the use of plasmonic nanostructures for the emission enhancement of light emitting materials.
